i dont use a lot of adblue, only one tractor at the moment needs it, shoping around today i found that EURO CARS had 20 litres @ £11.99 plus vat, other end of the price was a well known Newholland Tractor Dealers, price i was quoted over the phone was £18.25 plus vat for 20 litres? anyone want to comment on prices they have paid or quoted and from who?

we pay 26p/litre for 1000l IBC but in smaller quantities its always going to be more expensive.

Anyone know if you can take a container and fill up at the lorry service area from a pump, if so how much is it there?

200l drum is about £100,so 50p/l.Depends how quick you are going to use it,it doesn't keep that long, maybe a year or so as long as its not left in the sun. JDs seem to use less than the others.

Doesn’t your local petrol station have it at the pumps? quite a lot of diesel cars and pickups have ad blue. I know our local station has it. I don’t use it, but I thought it was 50-60p a litre last time I looked.

Got a 200l drum and pump thrown in with the deal on my first ad blue tractor which lasted just shy of a year. The cheapest way of buying ad blue I've found is taking it to a local dealer and they fill it up from their bulk tank the cost in my area is 32p to 47p a litre depending on where you take it

We have paid 27p litre here for the last three years , brought a 1000L IBC to start with and now it’s topped up when we need it . Min delivery of 500L .

I buy it in IBCs at a similar price to those mentioned. Always had an IBC even when there was only 1 tractor on it. Never had any storage issues.

Local garage is 75ppl I think he’s making a couple of quid with that price .

I’m paying 45ppl for 200l barrel delivered from my usual fuel supplier, I’ve only one tractor on it so getting 6-8 months out of it.
I wouldn’t go back to use small drums it works out to expensive and it’s a pita when you run out on a Sunday and to tip them in!

I buy from direct from the manufacturers Greenox.

1,000L Totes cost me £240 plus a £100 deposit
205L drums are £82 (but you have to order a min of 2)
10L are £4.85 (but you have to buy by the pallet ... 45 I think)

The rep there has helped me several times on AdBlue issues so I rate them better than anyone else.

My supplier wont refill totes, they take the used one away and swap it for a new one. The rep told me they did this to protect against filling contamination and that by having a sealed unit, if anything goes wrong with my truck they can garantee the AdBlue to the garage. If I break the security tag on my tote I loose my deposit - the guy said thats so they know the adblue hasnt been contaminated and know the history of it, hence the reason why they can garantee it. He said if it was filled onsite and there was a problem, they wouldnt be able to help. Its a bit of a faff changing totes but at least if there is an issue with the adblue Im covered! It costs me 24p a litre and he also does me 200l drums at £82 which is 40p a litre.
