Don't know what make of axle it is but they use a 2 speed axle with electric shift that's modified to give drive and neutral.thats the type of tyres .....black and round and not to grippy........looks like leyland axle ............ would not be a lot of use behind the dear john
Needs to be big enough to hold a load from the ferry tankers tho?2500gal is a bit big and it's too dear.
Yes, but the OP has a Fiat 100-90Needs to be big enough to hold a load from the ferry tankers tho?
Known as a 2 speed Eaton, found in old Bedford's and Dodge/Commer,back on the day.Don't know what make of axle it is but they use a 2 speed axle with electric shift that's modified to give drive and neutral.
I used to pull a 3000 gallon tanker with my 100 90 no worries.Yes, but the OP has a Fiat 100-90
It wasn't a ground drive tanker though was it?I used to pull a 3000 gallon tanker with my 100 90 no worries.
No but would that not make it easier to pull ?It wasn't a ground drive tanker though was it?
No, it takes more power to drive the axle and you're usually on steep ground which takes even more power. A 1600 was plenty for the 110-90. You also need a safety margin for when you shear the pto shaft and start going backwards! No but would that not make it easier to pull ?
