40 ha / 100 acres. Still a fair old walk, but thankfully not 500 acres.
There are 100 acres indoors between all the halls , but the halls are well spread out, it’s a long walk from hall 1 up to 27, there are shuttle buses going around all day which are free to help you get around. The outdoor forestry areas are in the middle of the site . It takes 3-4 days to walk past every stand.

It's a nice walk around the show, you will need 3/4 days to see it all properly

I’ve only ever done a couple of days and don’t reckon I’ve missed much of interest to me.
Not sure my feet and legs would stand much more, which is almost a bit strange for someone who’s outdoors on their feet most of the time, have heard others say similar. No time to dawdle though if you want to get around it in two days, need to get there ready for opening time, no time to sleep off hangovers from the night before. So whilst I do enjoy a few beers of a night, no drinking to excess……there’s cheaper places to go if all you want is a pi$$ up

Can you pay on the day at the gate to get in, or is it that advanced booking is the only sure way of getting in.? ( I may be able to get to visit but it will be at short notice and my plans may change a short notice ). T.I.A.
If you go on the Saturday before the opening day it’s free and very quiet.

Well tell them not to not only bother with your sponsors stands and go and find something interesting to photograph if they have a clue.

setting off this evening, driving down ! we are only there for the interesting stuff. - if there is anything particular you would like us to get photos / video or even interview about please let us know and we will do our best if we get the chance -we will be there until Thursday

not looked in detail but will get down to tunnel tonight - jump on 5am train - my guess is we should be there around lunchtime tomorrow

would have flown but have been racing in Wales this weekend and next plane we could get was late tomorrow so driving gets us there sooner
