Time: 7pm - 8pm

Barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) is the most widely distributed viral disease of cereals and affects the economically important crop species of barley, oats, wheat, maize and triticale.

In this session, we will be looking at a major breakthrough in European wheat variety development which offers farmers an alternative to chemical control of BYDV for the first time.

This breakthrough involves the use of BYDV-resistant plants and techniques that will help drive the agricultural industry forward with the use of IPM.

Following registration, you will receive a webinar link so that you can either watch live or catch up later.

Speakers: Tom Dummett (RAGT) and Tom Pope (Harper Adams University)
Host: Rose Riby (AHDB)
