Wasn’t there a thread on them a few months ago
Just had a look at their website and it seemed familiar
Expensive if I remember the thread said
Im not looking for machinery finance.I was just wondering if anyone thought they had been ripped off/signed documents that they hadnt realised what they were/had not read the small print etc. They seem to operate along very similar lines to Nationwide Asset Finance, the group that used to have a permanent back page advert in The Farmers Weekly. Allegedly, they used to do re finance of existing machinery already on farm to raise working capital, with an added "personal guarantee". Allegedly, this usually turned out to be a legal property charge against the farm done without the borrower realising what they had signed up to.

don’t think that was Nationwide - that was Acorn if I recall correctly ?

be careful what you post online in todays litigious world ! Nationwide were expensive finance as they would lend to high risk iirc but nothing dodgy etc
