Alfa Laval claws with quick change liners?

Anyone been trying these new claws and liners out?
We saw an example today ,and were intrigued if many folk have found any advantages from them?
They are lightweight for sure and the liners just twist in and out ,(and the milk tubes ) , and they are interesting !
Not sure how robust the plastic bit is ,that the milk tubes twist into either ?
I think to get them at the £240 a claw and liners complete ,you need to sign up to take the new liners on the calculated 5000 milking point ! (last twice as long as normal liners - not sure how that works  ) for 5 yrs ,or something like that !

So ,its always nice to see who might have been tempted ! We only have 10 units so not such a biggie for us ,but we get used to liner change ,even if we hate it like always !!

Food for thought !??:D

We are to get a demo unit to try. The liners are recyclable as well if your concerned about your carbon footprint. With 28 units in our parlour will need to be some advantages to make me change.

Thanks Ball acre , I didnt see the thread at the time ! So these are Evanza claws then ?
I saw how they were £400 on there 6 months ago ,but as I said ,Dairyscope (I have no affiliation ) are doing a deal at £240 a unit but you sign up for 5 yrs IIRC , to have the liners off them (not inquired the cost of a set ??!!)
They are lovely and light ,no doubt !!

You're welcome. They are good without a doubt. Only had one to try for a day so most of the claims I would not know if true. But .. They are nice and light. They seem to sit better on awkward cows and small titted heifers. As with all things, you pay your money and take your choice. By the looks of it they will come down in price even more. Good luck 🙂.
