No, he is taking something called "paternity leave" whatever that is for a few days ..............

Actually he has made the odd appearance just to record the fact that he's still alive to the staff which is handy as we are having our final whole herd TB check test this week under "normal" regime so fingers crossed on Friday we can finally be free for the next 6 months or so until the next test

Darn young ens, never had it so good. Paternity leave indeed. When my first was born I was sheeting the pit an hour after the arrival
