Usually any twins we get from sexed semen is one bull one heifer

Either two eggs fertilised or if identical an egg that spilt .

We just ask incalf or not! We only have one big scan session, cows all treated the same so makes no difference.

As far as I'm aware the only animals recorded to have identical twins regularly are humans and armadillos! Been one set of dogs as well

Any egg that spilts will be identical, same egg same sperm.

More likely to be non identical twins.

They cause me stress, 2 cows recently aborted twins 4-5weeks off calving, didn’t know either were in for twins but don’t think I’d of done anything different anyway

Something a bit different this morning. Removal of a melanoma from an IC heifers leg. It was a wierd looking thing cut open, I'd guess it probably weighed about 5kg.

5th and final cut of the year, just the maize left, the wwheat to get in, and a load of cows to calve, a farmers work is never done !
thought this looked better than the yucky melanoma, hope the hfrs feeling better !

Nice bit of grass. Must be better weather in the SW, mowed 4th cut , Sunday , for baling on Tuesday, contractor’s tractor’s alternator caught fire Tuesday evening, ended up washed on Wednesday morning ! Baled Wednesday afternoon, respectable 4 Fusion bales an acre.

Nice bit of grass. Must be better weather in the SW, mowed 4th cut , Sunday , for baling on Tuesday, contractor’s tractor’s alternator caught fire Tuesday evening, ended up washed on Wednesday morning ! Baled Wednesday afternoon, respectable 4 Fusion bales an acre.

if by pad, you mean house, not ours, our posh neighbours, but will cut his paddock, for free, 3rd cut, 5acs.
