Are they doing anything about the shameful organic price? You would almost be better off getting a load together and selling it spot. How could it possibly go worse than organic?

If you took a subsidy to convert surely the difference in price would more than cover that?

Back to 2x daily and have been for a week or so, yields still climbing but so far up 3l a cow
But
Anything over 100-150 days hadn't really come up in the same way they didn't really go down so I would guess that the springs are actually up sort of 6 litres

couple of grass analysis's, guess which one had dirty water most of the winter. Quite interesting, that particular field has never had much dirty water, or shite, for a long time, as it was above our spring, where we used to get our water supply, it was some very dry ground, the last couple of years, its had 'quite' a lot of dirty water, and it shows
Also shows where we haven't spread fert, on the grazing grass yet. We have done silage ground, and doing grazing, after first grazing, a lot of grass and clover/herbs present in the first time around. Clover has kept growing all winter, and where it is thick, the grass has obviously benefitted -its a deeper shade of green.
