I have found an Amazone Power Harrow box drill combination, it would be used for drilling grass seed mainly. Are they any good, or should I avoid.??

what he says. we've sown grass seeds with one, once calibrated it was spot on as it was with cereals and osr. our one was discs which are a good bit more expensive to run than suffolk coulter but worth it. the harrow was a ke model and took a lot of punishment.Very good machines and parts are not that expensive.plenty of pattern stuff available and Tim Smith at Swanton Morley in Norfolk supplies oem stuff very competitively if required.my power Harrow has had a couple of seals replaced and a rotor shaft that was cheaper to buy new than machine and straighten bent one.just about impossible to see bend by the way.i consider amazone to be the rolls Royce of drills, tin hat on.you won’t go wrong with one.simple to calibrate, set up and use.ive drilled plenty of grass too with no problems.if you are after an RPD drill thetyres on the packer are a pain to replace but not that bad to do.
