Anyone any experience with Ambic flow milk filter compared to a sock system?

.Used one for many many years,does what it says on the tin, really need to be sterilized every day to completely remove any contaminants.

Used one 10 years ago. Rinse it after milking & it lived in a bucket of steriliser

Do you remove it and wash it before washing parlour and leave it in a bucket of acid?

Think it was a caustic soda type product

No rush in washing it along as it's sterilized before next milking
I wouldn't let it sit drying without it washed first
