i dont want to sound thick but to be clear all i would need is to but the pump only option and fit it to my existing system

If your pump and pipework is OK all you would need to buy is 4 guns and 4 adaptors. The cotswold system uses 8mm (I Think) pipe with push fit connectors which is a more positive fit than the flared ends and screw caps on Ambic. Many time had an ambic gun come off through milking and teat spray everywhere.

Debating getting one of these teat spray systems in. Thought about Ambic but it appears you guys have issues with it. There seems to be about 5 different types of guns/lances that you can get.

Is there any preference in one and does one work better than another.

Looking into the Cotswold system as mentioned previously.

ive an ambic teat sprayer system in the palour,4 ambic sprayers. they are not the cheapest but they keep sticking on and have to bo hit against a steel rail so them turn off ,this happens very often, any solutions other than buying 4 more which will probably stick on too

It won't help for post spraying but for pre, this video shows a useful tool...

You can only buy the Supaspray foamer though CIDlines and was told by a CID lines rep that it will only foam CID foam. Is this true?
Update: Apparently the foamer was tested on farms with lots of other dips/foams but none produced a stable foam that did not turn back to liquid in the cup (often cheaper but loads of waste). The CID Lines product is the only one that works apparently, hence the exclusivity. The foamer is being put on farms free with farmer buying Kenopure.

Had a problem with teat sprayer. Two years old so bought a new one. Poor performance after six months so I was going to take it back but first I thought I'd check the filter in the barrel. Looked clean but had become glazed. Been using same filter for over 25 years. Took filter of. Going super now for last three months

I wanted to fit the Cotswpld cupsprayer to our redundant Ambic double teat sprayer as we now cup dip post and pre. (We are trying this before we take the plunge with full cluster flush )
Would the Cotswold ones fit or is there an adaptor??:)

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
