An introduction and how I want to help

Every week I talk to farmers across the UK and find out what’s on their minds and I thought I would do a weekly question on here to open it up for discussions to help both me and everyone else.

This is just an introduction to me :)

I'm the Head of Agricultural & Renewables Finance at Midlands Asset Finance and I’m based near Nottingham, but have connections to farmers as far down south as Cornwall.

I like to talk to farmers when they have an idea or plan and want some guidance about bringing the project to life. This can often involve funding and I look for the most appropriate ways to sort that for anything ranging from buying land or diversification to renewables , milking robots or a simple asset purchase.

Just for an example, I have just finished working with a farm where ground source heat was just an idea to begin with. The project has now completed and will generate the farmer £1million in revenue per annum for the next 20 years.

Look forward to getting to know you all!

Is this another thinly veiled advert for your company’s wares ?

I am sure @Clive would prefer a normal commercial advert which adds funds to the running of this forum

This isn’t an introduction - I remember you doing exactly the same thing 6-12 months ago

Could this thread be renamed?

"An introduction, and how I want to make money from you"

Maybe caption the first post with

"It's not the first time I've tried to attract work using pretence on here, but now I'm getting desperate" ?

Come on @Borlace1 at least pay your way for advertising before you try and fleece us poor peasant farmers
