Quick one.
MF 7718 on 650/65 r 38 & 540 ? 28.

Towing 10t+ trailer of muck into field with ruts & Mudd. What pressure, I need loads of traction.

My Tyre guy blew them up seriously tight in autumn as doing 100% road work all winter towing heavy loads. Went into the field this evening, she was spinning before she saw mud!

Having them blown up hard for road work is much worse for tyre wear than having them a bit softer, not to soft though due to high road speed and cornering forces. Are they proper vf tyres designed to run at low pressures? If they are with a light load like that 12-14 psi will be fine depending on the amount of road travel.

I like to keep them at about 1.5 bar for mixed work. 1.8 for roadwork only and around 1 for mostly fieldwork. Would go to 0.8 for pure fieldwork but I don't have that luxury. All guestimates.
1 bar is 14.5 psi.
