Any chance on replacing DeLuxe radio in John Deere 8R ?

This should plug and play but pricey for what it is. But I’m hoping it’ll be a big improvement than having to listen to the radio and bloody cronovirus updates every 5minutesq

This is where any good dealer should be able to advise. It's a customer issue and they should know the solution and stock a bloody head unit that works or how to get it to work.
They could easily supply one but I’m sure the price for the genuine one would be terrifying!

I tried to put one up of a link on eBay for the jd Bluetooth one but wouldn’t let me for some reason. It’s £120+ VAT in our dealers. I’m going to try it.
That VAP one is guts of £450-500 but much for a radio you can buy elsewhere for. £80 albeit without harness.

Get a pure highway 200 or 400 depending on how much functionality you need- it feeds the radio through the aux input so you just leave the radio on AUX all the time. I never find the FM ones very good. Change the channels through the pure box mounted wherever you want it, and the volume and mute buttons on the armrest obviously still work.

That’ll give you (depending on model) DAB, music streaming and handsfree calling.

I dont need DAB at all, all I want is USB and handsfree. There must be some cheaoer solution coz this from Vapormatic seems to be funny money, I am not THAT crazy or stupid. Normal JVC radio with those functions without DAB is 60-70€, so add 100€ for those cables and that is max what makes sense.
