Got told Bentham was 23 down. Don’t know if that’s nemsa or both76 was only the nemsa average at Bentham, overall average on the day was in the mid 60s I think

Scotch bred mules definitely selling better than swale bred though. Hexham only £3 back on yearcould only put it down to the fact you maybe dont rely on the south-country buyers the same as we do.
Yes, there was a lot of hawes lambs going to scotland today.Scotch bred mules definitely selling better than swale bred though. Hexham only £3 back on year
The poor framed sheep are taking a hit this time. Hexham scotch mules at the first sale are usually good carcassed sheepYes, there was a lot of hawes lambs going to scotland today.
. I would think lambs at least twenty pound down at Stirling yesterday. I know market report might tell you a different story but that’s what it looked and felt like, it also won’t tell you about the pens that were run out of the ring unsold , wasn’t a good day to be selling.Second lamb sale at Stirling was back £10.
Think us Scots got best of the mule ewe lamb sales this year though for the end of August/start of September sales. Generally lambs were similar on year.

It’s the little short arsed swale tups to blameDidn’t help with the pounding rain on the day by the photos I saw as it showed up how scrawny some were.
Like it or not these mules need some body putting into them.
like it or not they need some colour puting into their faces,my darker coloured ones were making £15-20 more than my light coloured ones.Didn’t help with the pounding rain on the day by the photos I saw as it showed up how scrawny some were.
