looks like an adaption of the standard disc plough which tends to work better in drier/tropical soils. It must be an older idea as the dimensions are in imperial units.

No they won’t , I think they all got chopped up . I brought four of the packers off them before they were scrapped . Chap who designed it also designed one of the best selling bits of ag kit in this country at the moment .

Used to collect leaflets and brochures when I was a kid, found it in a box in loft. I’ve never seen one other than in the leaflet.
Not the Misery drill?
I say no because my guess is he’s from the Peterborough area to fit in with reco of Huntingdon and bob on the edge of lincs. And mizery is more your way?

I am going off second hand information here but the square plough was the best thing since sliced bread in it's day- it worked exceptionally well for I believe 2 seasons and everyone got one. If I remember right it had plastic mouldboards but metal wearing points? Anyway, they worked incredibly well in the dry. The following summer/autumn was a wash out and people faithfully took their square ploughs out and they just didn't work and into the nettles they went.
Yes , I took the rings off and fitted them to longer shafts .
edit . Sorry no some were fitted with a ring type press . That what we had .

How did they work exactly?
I think it had a disc running flat to the ground slicing off the top layer of soil then another disc behind that flipped it over . At the end the whole machine reversed like a plough but side to side not turned over .
