This is, arguably the biggest issue that UK agriculture could face for many years. What would UK ag look like if we were not part of the European Union? Yes, we would not have to pay our current levy to the EU but would we (like Norway) have to pay into the EU in order to trade with them? Would we still have to accept migrants who have traveled across continental europe as part of any trade deal? Would an independent UK feature support payments?
Ironically it looks like the Scottish voting to remain part of the UK could well be the key to the UK as a whole voting to remain in the EU.
Personally I feel that I do not have sufficient information as to what a post-EU UK would be like to make an informed choice currently.
