On what machine as Volvo head stock on a Volvo is 648mm yet a volvo headstock made by JCB on a JCB is 645mm
Anyone got a Volvo headstock they could messure for me I have a measurement of 645mm in my notes but looking online I see different manufacturers measurements varying from 644.5mm to 648mm. It's making scratch my head fairly sure I right be just like to be 100%.

Really? I didn't realise there was a difference, my understanding was they were made to the same specs. That makes sense though as I measured up one of my customers machines when I was making an adapter plate for his 2nd loader and I had in my notes 645mm that was a jcb machine. But when I seen some of the range of measurements online I started 2nd guessing myselfas it was a few months ago when I took the measurements. That makes things complicated as the above brackets won't fit both a jcb and a volvo headstock then if the measurements to be believed. Crazy
Think it is JCB that can not drive a tape measure , have lots of things with Volvo brackets & the funny thing is they fit both but are slack fit on a JCB , more than likey made in china for themReally? Yeah seems like that can't even say it's a metric imperial thing as it doesn't line up with that either. I suppose the only thing would be to slot the bottom locking pin hole in the brackets so it will fit both types properly.
