Anyone using Vaderstad Cross Cutter discs?

These look an idea tool for establishing cover crops (with biodrill unit), destroying cover crops before the Claydon drill and getting a fast chit of grassweeds etc where needed?

The problem is the price, a 4 metre trailed one is 3 times the price of a Weaving short disc for example.

Is anyone using one? I don't want a tool that will mix too deep, apart from anything else I think consolidation helps with the manganese deficiency we suffer from.

What else is on the market that will do the same job?
