It was the omni easy plan, they have announced it now so no need to keep quiet. From the demo it seemed very good and would suit our business wel especially with all the extra SFI mapping and evidence based stuff we need.

Thanks, yeah I should have spotted the date of your post, do you know if it will fully replace greenlight grower yet, my understanding is that it's still a while off.
If it does tie into SFI and Trimble etc, it could be very useful.

what’s the issue with Farm Matters? Always very high praise for their livestock software on here (which I use). Is it a problem you perceive just on the crop records side?

Indeed they are! It looks good and will evolve quickly with their in-house tech team - Are you doing your agronomy in-house, Adam or using an independent? We’re a mixture and getting our agronomic support onto a new platform may be a stumbling block - or do we just cross-deck recs over ourselves? Could be time consuming. My operator has enjoyed using Greenlight day to day but I’ve also now had it confirmed that TELUS Ag aren’t interested in its development - it’ll probably be sectioned off and sold/bought!!! We do our agronomy in house so not a worry. You could just cross deck which won’t take much time. I also need to re sample the whole farm properly as we havnt done a comprehensive one for years, so biting the bullet and doing it with Omnia.
Disappointing about greenlight as I think it’s full of potential and is very user friendly.

really don’t think there’s a lot of profit in crop recording software - it’s a pretty niche market and development isn’t cheap

I believe there are different levels but I don't think full agronomy package rates have been announced yet.

I'm impressed to see that field margin now has a pesticide check too, similar to sentinel active.
Going to be a good competitor to Omnia going forward I think.
