Ahem
Ppkg .........
Potter bulletin through at 12.42 with the Arla Jan price on it and the texts go out at 1300. Not great.
It was embargoed until 1. I suspect he assumed it was 12 like previous months and didn't read it properly.
And?It was scheduled to go out at 12 today but was delayed this morning to 1pm.
Stable for who?It shouldnt have happened but it did.
Now we can all moan about who told who over the space of 20 mins.
Or we can acknowledge that a 1.3 ppl milk price drop with a stable outlook is a good outcome.
Stable for who?
Them or us ?
Us ,we are the producers .I think stable is probably a reallly bad outcome for the rest of the uk processors.
Not to sure who the them and us are.
Lactalis 28.5 ppl for jan arla 30.24.
Heading into a new year 30+ is fantastic never mind what’s probably going to be coming start of March. Certainly keeps a spring in the step for Christmas Day milking stuffed full of turkey.I think stable is probably a reallly bad outcome for the rest of the uk processors.

GDT was up. Supply is matching demand. With forage being the key. Yes stable but the outlook after the next "few" months? Thats where I would be asking for clarity. But that is crystal ball stuffI have to admit this is better than I feared and points to Arla working really well currently, especially given the wording about prices being stable going forward for the next few months.

As much as the market has one would imagine.Do you not think members should know first before the press? In reality what has knowing the price got to do with anyone else apart from members.
It may only be 20 mins but it's a members coop not like a privately own milk buyer.
Bad form.
How much has Arlas price yoyo'd in the last 3 years ?
