Sadly, milk sold at the dearest time of the year to produce seems to get penalised. What would the milk price have been without the "drought"! Seems to have had little effect on output though out Europe yet.

Heading into a new year 30+ is fantastic never mind what’s probably going to be coming start of March. Certainly keeps a spring in the step for Christmas Day milking stuffed full of turkey.

I have to admit this is better than I feared and points to Arla working really well currently, especially given the wording about prices being stable going forward for the next few months.

GDT was up. Supply is matching demand. With forage being the key. Yes stable but the outlook after the next "few" months? Thats where I would be asking for clarity. But that is crystal ball stuff

It shouldnt have happened but it did.

Now we can all moan about who told who over the space of 20 mins.

Or we can acknowledge that a 1.3 ppl milk price drop with a stable outlook is a good outcome.

Do you not think members should know first before the press? In reality what has knowing the price got to do with anyone else apart from members.

It may only be 20 mins but it's a members coop not like a privately own milk buyer.

Bad form.

How much has Arlas price yoyo'd in the last 3 years ?
