I hope I'm remembering correctly ... At Graham's meeting on Wednesday this week we were told some Morrisons business was lost to arla ... Morrisons giveth Morrisons taketh away .. jtt
arla need to take a long hard look at themselves and think about what they say and do ,more information on here than they put out themselves with no consultation with members/owners. Rest of post removed think about why
I am not having a go at you for answering questions posed, you are to be thanked for taking the time to answer them in the excellent way you do
I am not posting my concerns on here plenty at arla know who I am and can contact me for my views if they wish
@farmer on a bike I realise the forum is relatively new on the Arla website but if you want people to start using it then a good start would be getting someone at Leeds to keep an eye on it. There was a question posted a month ago about dates and last time I looked it still hadn't been answered. The video you keep referring to was a long way short of explaining this situation to your members. It only mentioned the 50 Milk For Farmers producers, nothing about the other 400 million litres, nothing about the "cost compensation" and a promise of future updates which clearly never happened. I think you have misread the situation if you believed that 90 seconds of footage would be a sufficient explanation to the membership.
So what % of Arla members actually access their members pages on Arla site?
When I ask the question........................very, very few.
Not one company has ever conquered the best way to communicate with farmers - and as the ways to communicate increases, I don't see anyone having the answer just yet!
Never good airing dirty laundry in public.Morrisons wanted to lead the PR on this. But in the mean time Arla had to start the process of getting commitment from the farmers. Arla did try to flag up what was happening on the Arla Farmers website where all owners could view it, with out it being released publicly.
I try to answer questions on here. I think perhaps in future it maybe better if owners questions were asked and answered on the Arla's own forum, which would answer your criticism.
Really?? I don't believe that, I am always playing around with the milk price calculator or looking at my production or qualitySo what % of Arla members actually access their members pages on Arla site?

Agreed I use website 4/5 times a week and it's good.
It was actually me that asked the date question, which I recently repeated and it was deleted off the forum.
The milkline/helpline people are top notch
It will be Friday with half year accounts. Going forward their should be indicative dates on the website.I guess Wednesday since our board meeting is tomorrow but it doesn't always follow
