Last week of Feb is always usually dry for us which then gives that feeling of 'spring'. Looks nice into first week of March, so people will probably get a bit done, then what usually happens after a nice dry week-10 days we will have 7-10 days worth of rain in 2 or 3 days.... At least we are going the right way now for it to start drying up quicker.

Don't think any form of weather pattern nowadays can spell out what the future weather will entail to be honest. Forecasters don't know what's happening tomorrow.

It’s a funny thing this lime spreading business. When I look back at records for the last 20 years we have had some great years when either yields have been poor or the price of grain has been low.

The thing about those great years has been prolonged dry weather. Which makes me certain that people will have lime when the ground is right, irrespective of what their bank balance looks like.
