Honest to God Batter & the senior NFU leadership should all tender their resignations immediately, what use are they?
As if government decisions to slash our subsidies isn't bad enough this deal with the Aussies is just the first of many, once the Americas start flooding our markets & the EU say feck you & stop any UK exports what then?
The NFU response, absolutely nothing, anybody who continues to throw money to this useless crowd need their head seen to!

Blackford embarrassing himself and Scotland in commons again today , when he says Boris talks tripe it confirms that Boris talks sense to me.
It will be interesting to see what does more to reduce the output of Scottish agriculture, the Westminster government's free trade policy or the Scottish government's tree planting targets. The SNP are well ahead at the moment.

The better welfare regulations as seen in the chart above ?
And you really think the general public give a toss when buying from the supermarket with foreign beef cut up in the UK with a nice little UK flag stuck on it!
We have a government telling any & everyone to eat less beef whilst arranging to flood the market with cheaper foreign beef, what's there to be concerned about.

Some do
If people eat less beef but the UK imports more it won't be sold, well apart from dog food

EU "we will interfere with your borders, we'll make Northern Ireland really difficult again, take that"
UK "Fine, oh by the way here is deal with Australia, good deal, oh and by the way we won't need any more Irish Beef"
Ireland "WTF, we didn't see that coming"
EU "Sorry Ireland its all the Brits fault for daring to leave, blame them"
Ireland "Ok EU if you say so"
