Australia Free Trade Deal?

So is their milk. However, that only happens about one year in ten, if not one year in twenty on average.
However, due to Chinese domestic conditions with African Swine Fever, and the amount of beef already exported to China, world beef prices will remain high for the next two years or so.
Due to comments about Chinese flu Xi stopped Anzac imports of beef etc. My understanding is Oz halted or reduced exports of coal so now Chin boy is having power cuts. Good on you Diggers.

Not really , most beef sheep men currently enjoying highest prices ever , what’s to be scared of ?

What's lamb worth at the minute Hilly?
Just looking at an invoice, Sister in law sold 392 lambs to the works the other day for an average of $127 per head. Which is 65 quid at current rates.
No idea if that's good or not.

What is the difference in sheep and cattle prices between the UK and Australia?

Interesting to read the comments on the NFU Twitter post on this subject. Not many supportive of farming! The boy that cries wolf comes to mind!

I hope that everyone is making the most of current prices, honeymoon period comes to mind

I sold some about three weeks ago for average price of £157 per head , top of £164. That’s fat .
fat cattle range say £1500 - 2k

Quite a difference then.
I think the milk price forecast for this year is closer to the UK price. $7.30 -7.90 per KG milk solids. Not sure what that is in pence per litre but it will be one of the highest payouts here.
Don't know about fat cattle
