Azelis, a distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, has announced the signing of a partnership with chemical company Perstorp, which specialises in chemicals and feed additives markets, to represent them in Great Britain for their animal nutrition range of gut health solutions, feed hygiene solutions, acidifiers, silage additives and TMR and grain preservatives.

The new directive will increase Azelis’ product offering into the animal nutrition market in Great Britain, building upon a successful distribution partnership between Azelis and Perstorp for feed and performance chemicals.

Mauricio Varvella, VP Animal Nutrition EMEA at Perstorp, commented on the partnership: “We have chosen Azelis as our preferred partner based on their market coverage and synergistic product portfolio, as well as strong technical capabilities and their good reputation in the market. Our customers will gain a greater selection of products for different applications and requirements, and will benefit from direct contact with a major player in Great Britain. Jointly with Azelis, we will bring them new product lines and solutions.”

Andrew Johnson, Market Segment Manager Animal nutrition EMEA at Azelis, also commented saying Perstorp: “Provide outstanding solutions for gut health, feed preservation & hygiene, water hygiene and acidification” which will benefit to its customers in Great Britain by creating access to the broad extensive range.

This new mandate extends the partnership the two companies already have in EMEA. Azelis represents Perstorp for their product ranges in feed in South Africa as well as performance chemicals in parts of Europe. A sole distribution agreement has been signed by both parties involved.
