Hi, I am hoping some of you knowledgeable foke can assist me.
I have a b25 with a Hymatic type s15 linkage control and isolation. It is badly leaking round the isolation valve.
I have tried replacing the o rings with "best fit" from my generic box of of o rings. This worked ok for about a 10hours of workthen failure .
I have tried to locate a o ring set but from a couple of vintage tractor people and they only seem to have parts for a varimattic (from memory) block, which I think was on slightly later models.
I have tried measuring and selecting a series of o rings from bearingboys. ok for about 20hours of work now failure again. I measured OD and ID of surfaces and then selected a O ring that was a little bigger / smaller.
I am getting to my whits end as it's such a simple thing causing much hassle.
Does anyone have a good source of part for Thai block or know if anyone? I have e tried tractor parts.co.uk and one other place I forget off the top of my head neither was able to help unless it was a varimattic.
Alternatively does anyone have a good method of sizing unknown o rings sizes?
