Bac scan problem.

have a bad bac scan problem.
It's now at 350 over the last week it's been going up 100 a time on collection.
I've got new liners to put in tomorrow and going to replace the rubber milk line from the clusters.
I wash tank with brush after every collection.
And other suggestions would be helpful

Should be some taps on your vacuum lines somewhere, which you can connect a hose to. Suck up a couple of buckets of strong hypo solution, enough to get back to the vacuum reserve tank. You'll be amazed what comes out.

Usually the tank. Is it sucking up chemical 100%? How hot is the wash in the tank?

Same questions for the plant. Check the plant for any milk fat still in the line.

I went to a farm with a tbc problem. And the owner (who wasn't actively involved in the dairy) had fiddled with the timer to the plant hot wash to try and save money... although he tried to deny it afterwards.

if it can't be the tank then I think @Stuckingeneva idea is a good shout as well as checking the receiver and shells for fat build up.

Anyone else on the round having a problem?
We had this problem in the spring, over about a week the bactoscan started increasing by 20 or 30 a day and within a couple of days was increasing by more than 100 a day. Spent lots of time looking but couldn't find a problem and neither could the dairy engineer but a change in milk tanker solved the problem overnight.

Couple weeks back ours went from 11 to 450 then back to 15 the following test,the 450 result was a sample from Tb test day,not sure if the two are linked but we didn't change or touch a thing to make it go back down

Get the lab to do a detailed test that will tell whether its because of the milking routine , the plant , or the tank which is the problem, I think it costs about £45

Check all the jars and clusters are washing out properly, I recently had a high bactoscan and after watching the jars washing out I realised that the 2 front jars weren't washing out aswell as the others.

Look in the box that the tanker driver puts the sample in, if its hot weather it needs to be cool and may need ice packs in it.
That is very often the answer, the sample is not kept cool enough, but your neighbours would have a problem also. Ask them.

Neighbours on the same round, that's a novelty, I have 3 neighbours milking and another 2 a farm away and not one of us shares a tanker.

We had this once. The farmer collected after us rang to see if we were having problems, so I rang the farmer collected before, who had taken his parlour to bits to try and find the problem. Turns out the foreign tanker drivers had been sent out without any training and the samples were keeping them company on the passenger seat I caught one driver taking 2 samples from the same tank. When questioned he just said "milk is milk"
We left that dairy

What about dirty plate cooler .it's dirt some where it just finding it .cracked joint. liner. valve. jar . Try upping detergent for few days.

If your tanks clean it's somewhere between the cows teats and the tank,pulsation lines won't alter things but are best clean,split liners have been a problem for us in the past when everything else was checked.
