Ok well have gone few days since first post without any, only today to get their to one down classic signs and another out flat lambing that when I lambed her and sat her up was pooling liquid again, managed to save both lambs and had the luck of a single lambing so one almost straight away adopted, other on bottle, doing fine
Vet called who came straight out, ewe lambed died just as she arrived other shortly before so both real fresh.
Same issues fluid in a kind of sack around heart and lungs, lungs were stressed and heart too, understandably pointed slightly to pneumonia but their was tumours in one of the Sheeps lungs, all taken for tests, should know Tuesday.

So the jaggasea as I mentioned first post and in another name shaired above as opa is possible , with hope this will tell,

These both was from a flock I bought in but not all have been, I bought them on my birthday annoyingly back last year in August so haven't shown a problem till now. So weather bought with them???

To chasingmytail
They are mainly nc mules though others mixed in boarder Cheviots and sufflock x mules mainly
Minerals in the tests have been ok, they are bright and plenty of colour i. Eyes and gums, so doubt colbalt but more tests testing that again who knows they have mineral buckets available 19% fresh cake no mould found, eating hay and straw both doesn't smell fusty but not tested,
Their grouped to condition fatties lean and to their scanning so fatties don't barge the skinnies about to much if that makes sence,
They have been in since 2nd week in December, mucked out reasently and bedding kept clean, were sheared back in Dec too, has started since second week in January and now in waves goes few days then starts again etc

Well took a while for results to come back and then lambing well and truly started so have only just had a chance to add an update,
The results came back as a pneumonia, the drugs I've used and any others available apparently won't have any effect in treating it as its contained in puss sacks around the heart and lungs so cannot penetrate to cure or have any effect on it? Which is why they haven't responded to anything I have or vets have done,

Has any of you suffered pneumonia and how have you delt with it? Have you found any effective treatments?
Though they seemed to have stopped it now but would be good to know if you have found anything.

The main of them come from a batch I bought back in August and it looks to have come in with them? They have been a total horrible night mare! Ones that went on and lambed looked all milky big bags nice big lambs but would have no milk coming out! Some would have enough for one feed then would stop milking, oxytocin had no effect either,
(The rest original ewes have been fine,) just these. And ones that would have milk was bad mothers, they were sold as full mouth ewes but obviously kicked out for a good reason, maybe I just got really unlucky but on 110 of them I am skeptical that that was not so

Only 60 odd left to lamb now ones out are doing well at least.

I feel for you. A year ago i had a run of similar problems, that took out half a batch of draft ewes - All similar symptoms, But I did find alot went anemic as well at the same time, but none had worm burdens on FEC and all had good livers - Most had appetite right to the end, but would sit down and never get back up, happily eat until they just died. would go suddenly.
Had one tested, came back low everything but that was put down to being down for 2 days, and all had some fluid in lungs / when dead. Test ruled out OPA / Jaag and no real answer was given. Copper was normal and safe.
Vets only advice was that sometimes buying in sheep from different environments, they can be adapted for certain area specific issues, such as copper / moly / CA availability etc, and that my land didnt suit and ground them down. Would explain some of them having poor condition despite otherwise having no problems and other sheep thriving (even going over fat) on the same middling PP.
