Bale grab recommendation please

Currently a JD 3800 pivot steer. Probably move to a JCB TM320 in time. 8 foot 6 string bales (contractor has a MF2270XD baler). Also deal with 4 string and 6 string silage bales and round bales. Would be good to find something to deal with all types. Stacking bales from field to trailer to shed and then out again. Probably doing over 1,000 bales a year but not as many as other folk/ contractors. Want something decent that will last and that can move 3 bales safely.

I make these. Our oldest one is 10years old now, loads 10 trucks most days. Will handle up to 4 of your size bales. They are quite expensive but very heavy duty.

Thank you everyone. Will have a good look at the options. Never hear of Mocho before so thanks @beefsheeparable .

I just use an Albutt bale spike (with 3 spikes in) with a back frame like @tr250 ’s (but a lower frame). Handles 3 quadrants at a time with ease.

Mochofabrications are at Aston Somerville, off the Evesham to Winchcombe road, so not far from you @cotswoldcs . 2 young lads that will build pretty much anything you want, and build it well. I should perhaps declare that one of them is my nephew. :)

I am sure there is a picture of a Heath somewhere where it is picking up 3 hesstons in one go. Go as high as you like with it but no tines to pull in or out of the bales makes it a bit easier at height I would think?

NOPE not the hardox ones, i agree they would be crap for bales. we,ve used a grab for decades on hay and straw bales and have never thought about a purpose built bale grab and i can assure you i like my toys  But if you havent any sh!t you would,nt have a dung grab.
