Has your main control box got the radio software installed? It can be added by RDS but will cost but easy firm to deal with and easy to speak to and send box to and they will return it. If the box has been repaired recently by RDS then it will have the new software providing it’s an RDS box of course.
Aerial and controller were around £300 a few years back from McHale I seam to remember but a friend bought via RDS cheaper.
PS I do not work for RDS but have found them helpful when had problems.

If the software to take a radio remote is installed it should be visible via scrolling the menu on the main box so easy check to see if an update is needed
