Has the country run out of barley ?
How come the price is still so low. ?
Very little down south too, plenty of enquiries, the price qouted and price paid are not the same. A few miles from here will be cutting barley next week so not long now to stretch it out.

Very little good winter barley about round here, spring stuff very variable. Have a couple of loads left in the shed but it’s all for the cows.

Lots of very poor spring crops in Lincs will produce plenty of high N, high bushel stuff. I don't mean plenty lots, but enough area has been scrabbled into barley as will mean there will be enough come September.
