We really need to challenge this one, it's a step too far from their "public service remit" imho.

It needs a carefully crafted response sent in as a complaint to both the BBC and OFCOM by large numbers of us.

That piece is thinly veiled vegan propaganda.
you know what i'm going to say ................what if a large number of us formed a group to contradict the rubbish in the press I don't know a union for example........................

Sent him the attached, which points him to here, so be nice :) .

I reckon you're missing a huge part of the people pushing the 'cows cause climate change nonsense'. Shell, BP, ExxonMobil et Al must all be loving the distraction of methane from cows and sheep.

There's only one answer to climate change. Stop digging up fossilised carbon and burning it. Anything that takes focus away from that is counterproductive.

That's not a message the BBC like to promote though it seems. It's appears that it's more convenient for them to promote "offsetting", blame agriculture in general and ruminants in particular and keep heavily pushing dietary change.

Do any of their journalists have a science background one wonders?

C U Next Times.

I was thinking that some people were getting a bit paranoid about the BBC attacking livestock farming but that takes real effort to come up with that.

For sure, the oil industry will as you say be loving the distraction, but unless we have evidence that they are actively promoting the anti-cow agenda we would weaken our case by implicating them. I have tried to keep it factual, we should leave the blatant lies to the vegans.

Isnā€™t there even bigger staff shortage in veggie picking industry! Vegan lives matter, so best get that sorted before dealing with the poultry sector.
