Off H+H website:Where do you get those figures from? It was 172.5p,up 0.3p They seem to want heavies over 45kg. Sub 39kg,down 12p to 156p.
Longtown do that aswell,on their own website,its often more than the ahdb one.What Longtown do is knock the weight down on your pay cheque,compared to your sale chit in the ring, while keeping the price the same.This bumps up the average p/kg.Off H+H website:

At St Boswells on Monday 17th September, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly Primestock sale of cattle and sheep sold 51 Clean Cattle, 38 Cast Cows, 1575 Lambs and 633 Ewes.
Bullocks (18) averaged 217p per kg and sold to 238p (-10.0p on the week)
Heifers (32) averaged 223p per kg and sold to 247p (-9.0p on the week)
1 Young Bull sold to 159p (n/c on the week)
38 Cast Cows averaged 142p per kg and sold to 187p (n/c on the week) Top price £1330.
1575 Lambs averaged 175.82p per kg (+3p on the week) and sold to £100, top price 206p per kg for Beltex Lambs.
