Anyway some good hope today! I was told by a certain buyer that that lambs will rise dramatically in the next month or so and he said he would not be surprised if they were £200 pounds in the spring. I won’t say who it was as it might make him sound as bigger fool as I do quoting him!

No they won’t. It could happen though. Everything is in place for it to happen. I never in the world thought that our second/third draw hoggs would reach £130 last May but it did happen. What will they do when they realise how many lambs died last spring and ewes carrying them. They won’t think about it until late feb 2019! They never doThere'll be men flocking to markets after seeing this quote [emoji23]
Have you heard what woodheads are for next week?I think Angus were 3.85, Hereford 3.80 at Dunbia this week.

If your getting 3.80 for Herefords I’ll be a bit upset as I was quoted 3.72I think Angus were 3.85, Hereford 3.80 at Dunbia this week.
I had 12 Angus Bulls out of Exeter stirks avg weight tonight 230 kilos 6 mths old 330No idea as I didn't have time to go in but looking at the report the top price in the stirks was only £660 head for South Devon steers so trade must have been fairly lacklustre across the board.
There must be a fortune to be made out of these cattle. Tb won’t make it an option for most to cart them north thoughI had 12 Angus Bulls out of Exeter stirks avg weight tonight 230 kilos 6 mths old 330
Yes, my neighbours flock, he offered me some, unfortunately I didn't have the keep to take any
