Also remember someone I always looked up to when I was a lad used to say 1 dry day in March is worth 5 in Jan its so true if you think about it
trade was pretty good at sedgemoor , most pens around £100 , our chuck out pure yellows were £112 (a lot of yellows in today , even the overfat reds sold well ) prob £3-4 a head up on last week . someone did say there were a hell of a lot of stores on sat @£100

it’s been said countless times before but stores at £100 aren’t stores. Just fat Hoggs sold in the stores..

A store is something that's not fat, whether it's a £100 lamb or £1200 bullock, it's still a store.

Can anyone tell me when they start checking teeth in markets?
They shouldn’t be checking teeth this year 30th of June is the cut off, after that they are all over a year old . You self certify up till that date ,the movement forms are going to have a bit on them for self certification under a year old.

Really that's good news...but will believe it when I see it

2700 lambs in Skipton average £2.42p per kilo or £103 per head
They look a fair trade for sure.

Still cheap though before anyone starts saying people won’t buy lamb etc. Took my little one today to Disney shop for a frozen toy as we think we have mastered potty training and we bribed her with this offering. Two little doll things £30.00!! hook a duck if we had three kids it would have been a full lamb!! I hate thinking like this in ‘normal’ life but it creeps in!
