Guth have you tried to get one of those loans..? let us know how you get on my friend.Turns out this morning that the government loans that you can apply for via your bank comes with strict conditions, for example the banks are demanding that the business owners put up their own houses as security to get a loan.
On the 80% wages, so many businesses shut 100% down on Tue because it turned out that if they stay open even if just offering an emergency service for say parts ( builders merchants ) then they will still have to pay all the staff their normal wages and cannot access the 80% wage help.
Will be intresting to see what shambles they dream up for the self employed later.
They would have been better to have just given everyone say £1000 directly month to buy the basics like food etc.
On the 2 meter rule, all places of work have to adhere to that strictly, only shops that aren't that bothered about this rule seems like the supermarkets as their staff are just standing side by side chatting to each other like normal, if the slaughter/packing lines have to adhere to this 2 meter rule then I can imagine its causing some serious problems.
