Euthanasia is good welfare. Dead animals don't suffer.New Zealand….they just shoot them…

You’d be well suited over there…Euthanasia is good welfare. Dead animals don't suffer.
Just the same as paying a mortgage on land though plenty expanding farms does that people on the outside often say how does it pay but it usually doesI don’t know how paying rent pays full stop atm
Be even worse when they start paying them 50p+.Big demand at the moment, probably linked to the fert job
If I could get a visa I'd be gone. Sadly poor decisions in my personal life mean I'm 36 and no exportable. You’d be well suited over there…
Cant agree welfare is so much better than 30 years ago andUnpopular opinion, the UK has very poor welfare for sheep.
Yes but at the end of the mortgage you own the land.Just the same as paying a mortgage on land though plenty expanding farms does that people on the outside often say how does it pay but it usually does
They would have to regularly see their sheep to do that.New Zealand….they just shoot them…
Apologies, I quoted the wrong postYes but you quoted the other chap. I thought he was the "you" that was referenced.
Might be something in that you know .New Zealand….they just shoot them…
Yes that’s what I meantYes but at the end of the mortgage you own the land.
I don't think they will. As an example there was a farm near us to let on a 5 year FBT of 110 acres. They had 4 bids in excess of £20,000 pa. and they had to buy the entitlements. With the end of BPS, do you foresee prices falling?
Even that must be getting harder now , your payimg a mortgae on something valued with valuation bears no resemblance what it can earn ? , in the past yes but today im not sure its affordable .Just the same as paying a mortgage on land though plenty expanding farms does that people on the outside often say how does it pay but it usually does
I fully agree with you. But our main market doesn’t give a toss. They want too feed the family for as little as possible. Yes there are plenty who talk about only wanting sustainable sourced produce etc. But when the chips are down price dictates what people buy.10 quid will and does buy me four meals worth.
We have lamb sausages in the freezer which are actually more expensive because of the cost to make them, not sure about the costs with mince we have had it though. Who's fault is it that markets are not developed?
Anyway the point is it is not expensive when you consider the quality and nutritional value and also the environmental credentials of what you are eating, that is if it hasn't been ruined on its way to the supermarket
Nahhhh, you're wrong there. Some hippy scientist somewhere has decided we are much better at growing trees than grass...Which is insane when the UK is one of the best grass growing countries in the world.
If I have to go on rations they’ll hear me squealing from spaceThere will be as much sub as ever you could want as soon as folk are starting to feel hungry.....only trouble is there wont be enough animals or folk with the knowhow to produce food by then if not careful.
Be ration books before long, that will make folk squeal.
Dont know what it’s like now, but when I worked there 30 odd years ago I saw some really questionable welfare practices that were considered the norm for them, but would not be condoned at all here.Euthanasia is good welfare. Dead animals don't suffer.
so were stuck with you then, can we send guth instead. If I could get a visa I'd be gone. Sadly poor decisions in my personal life mean I'm 36 and no exportable.
