I bet tesco etc has done another deal with NZ/aus to bring in even more supply next spring , you might make a few £ if prepared to hold till may but i wouldnt bet on making much between christmas and easter

I was about to say it would cost Tesco a few pennies more, but I just looked it up & despite the £'s devalue against the euro,

The £/ $nz is pretty much the same as 12mths ago (alot of movement in between)
£ weaker against $aus .....I think, only breezed over that.

The deal will probably ready of been done at least on a percentage of it, what we don't need is our market being flooded with the stuff like it has been the last few years

you really think they will pay the prices around at present with discounted NZ on the boat ? Plus all the supply going into france further cutting uk demand , The only consolation might be the amount killed this year keeping uk numbers under control . Recon we will see a huge reduction in store trade over time and will get back to selling lamb in season like this year , It will be paramount to buy rams that finish offspring quickly rather than big framey rams that make attractive stores in years to come .

But how many are bought because "we have loads of grass and somethings got to eat it before the winter starts"?
Send them my way if they have that much grass, I have 500 that would like some grass to eat :( weather is pants and grass has stopped again as raining and temp cool. Was bouncing in the late teens temps last weekend.
