With the greatest respect...it hasn’tOur local market is going from strength to strength, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire often the highest prices in the country.
Does not matter who owns if account is not getting paid its only going to end 1 way!!!Why? Dawns own them now...
Dawns have always been good payers in all the years I dealt with them....obviously finances can changeDoes not matter who owns if account is not getting paid its only going to end 1 way!!!
But the market is far from overheating. Lamb has been too cheap for too long.I think he is been tongue in cheek.
But in a way he is right, markets over heating are not too good long term.
1976 made many potato fortunes, but many of those fortunes were lost within 10 years.
Are hogs a little less today...more around I supposeBut the market is far from overheating. Lamb has been too cheap for too long.
Don't say things like that I've just fetched 50 in to finish them off.Are hogs a little less today...more around I suppose

Obviously cracking lambs and great trade, must but can I ask why you keep lambs to such high weights? Genuine question. I’m
Guessing most go to butchers.
Very good question. Does the market actually know what it wants? It begs the question... "what does the market actually want???
Because I lamb in April and always try to catch a better trade into the new year, obviously last year it didn’t happen till April but I was still selling then. My lambs don’t get much hard feed and any that I sell in April will of only had what they can pull.Obviously cracking lambs and great trade, must but can I ask why you keep lambs to such high weights?
