I never sell sheep show week , always seem a poorer trade and all the exceptional lambs make run of the mill lambs look poor imo.
Longtown store lambs today were back i thought. Not many farmer buyers in at all, just the handful of big boys on several numbers.A bit unnerving when you are at the end of the sale and theres only half dozen people left around the ring.Plenty nice little Southy Cheviots in the £30s.

Tony England is always there.Gittens, and John Errington who buys for himself and thats about it.There is always a fair few sheep there from the Scottish Isles/Highlands.It will be a big change for them to end up in South West England.
