Mules are fairly cheap compared to anything else. The first lot I sold looked a poor do but they’ve gone up since

My cont x lambs at the first sale were over a tenner more for same weights which still makes the mules look handy price the way the job isI was thinking how dear Mules have looked compared to conti x cross lambs!

Skipton quoting a drop to £2.02 but as they say. It's a hell of an average for last week of September!
Wasn't there but Bentham reporting store lamb average of £71 for over 5000

Anyone hear how DFAM stores were today? Cattle or lambs? Heard last week lambs were reasonable and fancied going but the stories of the lack of social distancing have put me off. Might try Longtown tomorrow or Hexham Friday for lambs. Could be cheaper if this fat trade has fallen again.

198 down from 217 last week at St Boswells. Irritatingly they put (n/c on the week), a sure sign prices have come right back
I'll bet it was due to a lot of under-finished lambs, as speculated above.

Been holding off and holding off, got half the number compared to last year. Need to bite the bullet I think.
Yes very good for September a lot higher than last year but still the more the better for me
As @Woolless says I'm sure underfinished lambs has something to do with it but it's hard to know without being there.
