Top price - 244p/kg from Red House Farm, Aberhafesp or £107/head from Delves & Co, Craven Centre. Average - 198.37p/kg

Cull Ewes (2842)
Top price (Ewes) - £124/head from Red House Farm, Aberhafesp. Average - £50.18/head
Top price (Rams) - £140/head from CL & C Watkins, Bank Farm. Average - £51.87/head

OTM’S (40)
Top price - 192p/kg from TH Williams & Son, Pentre Farm or £1414.01/head from Roberts & Jones, Parc.
Average - 125.75p/kg

Store Lambs (1452)
Too price - £82.50/head from JH & ML Breeze, South Moelygarth. Average - £62.98/head

Anyone hear how DFAM stores were today? Cattle or lambs? Heard last week lambs were reasonable and fancied going but the stories of the lack of social distancing have put me off. Might try Longtown tomorrow or Hexham Friday for lambs. Could be cheaper if this fat trade has fallen again.

Anyone hear how DFAM stores were today? Cattle or lambs? Heard last week lambs were reasonable and fancied going but the stories of the lack of social distancing have put me off. Might try Longtown tomorrow or Hexham Friday for lambs. Could be cheaper if this fat trade has fallen again.
Bet they don't alter or go up... everyone has either sheep sickness or grass fever!!

Skipton quoting a drop to £2.02 but as they say. It's a hell of an average for last week of September!

Wasn't there but Bentham reporting store lamb average of £71 for over 5000
Yes very good for September a lot higher than last year but still the more the better for me ;)
As @Woolless says I'm sure underfinished lambs has something to do with it but it's hard to know without being there.
