thanks for report , was that a Foulrice shearling ? I saw Deborahs on FB they looked tidy rams , good money for those yearlings though , if the lambs wernt fancied probally means fairly commercial trade , which is a good thing , , Thought the texels would sell well though dont suppose they are working properly just yet .Up and down, with a lot fewer of all breeds there, probably as a result of last year’s disaster of an early sale.
I heard Texels were struggling, and crossbreed even more so, for all but the best, but not many ‘good’ ones there of either tbh.
Charollais were variable, the best yearlings being generally £7-900, some poorer ones not making the £300 upset. A lot of the lambs went unsold I think, unless they were fancied by breeders.
Champion (Foulrice shearling) made 1600gns, res champ (lamb) made 1000gns. I bought a shearling at 1200, and I saw another yearling at 1100.

Please with your sales?Slightly less of a buzz I thought. Quality not quite there also.
Ok don’t get your knickers in a twist I wasn’t having a go there’s just a lot coming out all over for the time of year.It is too early - but I've no options
Sell as stores now or let them starve with no grass/water. And I'm not alone in this situation...
You at Holsworthy tomorrow? Was told today good trade for what was there
If shearlings are dear that shows there’s higher demand which in turn means they are moving themDear Shearlings Cheap Tups.
Always the case as people buy less sheep and so don't need so many tups.
