I'd be very happy at that price think I'll be finding another loadFar from an expert but those bulls would be Ā£1200-1350 in hereford tomorrow, 450kg one could make more Ā£1450ish
I generally ring the office and they email me oneHas anyone got a catalogue for the beef breeding sale at Carlisle tomorrow?
Yes there might be one sent I havenāt looked I usually just text Lynne tooI generally ring the office and they email me one
It will be a small one, those breeding sales are a fraction on where they used to be. Sign of the times I supposeYes there might be one sent I havenāt looked I usually just text Lynne too
Long time since I attend them but last one I said Iād never be back either over priced showy stuff or shyt no in between, a shadow of its former self .It will be a small one, those breeding sales are a fraction on where they used to be. Sign of the times I suppose
Yeah that pretty much summed it up. I tend only to go if I know of a genuine dispersal or looking for bullers in mayLong time since I attend them but last one I said Iād never be back either over priced showy stuff or shyt no in between, a shadow of its former self .

Everything about them is in there favour to achieve the best trade, weight, weight for age, shape and growth potential.I'd be very happy at that price think I'll be finding another load
Don't know about the stores. Bulls looked a good trade for the best but the rest would be less than last week I would say. Weaners seemed to start off cheaper but picked up. There was a lot of 2 to 3 month old calves near the end which I didn't see, I was a bit worried about the trade for them as they would be a bit small for that ring and the calf buyers might have left by then. Was anyone at Carlisle today? @Raider112 ,@aangus
I was hoping trade for younger ordinary bulls would pick up a bit.Feed cost must be putting buyers off. I saw those calves on the way out when i left.Lot of Hereford X. As you say,too small for that ring, and probably made alot less than in the calf ring.I dont know why they have put the Bulls and weaners in Ring 4.Its too small for the job.One little Blue heifer took a header into the outgoing gate and took it off the hinges.Don't know about the stores.
