Battery, we bought a set off Welsh shearing company, they did the job for us too, yet we always had issues with the battery locking mechanism ! we had to use insulation tape, now neither of the batteries will take a charge..Hand or battery?
I’ve some Welsh shearing battery ones, they “ do a job” but I can’t get on with them , prefer a set of generic hand clippers from local ag merchant, or stick the old lister machine up if there’s a few to do

We had the same issues with a Masterclip set. They replaced the batteries but the replacements didn't even last as long as the originals. Chucked it and bought a 'Blade' which takes Makita batteries. They've improved the newer ones, better clip.
