I had one of those a good few years ago, £85 then.
Brilliant piece of clothing, end of winter I must of threw it in the back of the pickup and forgot about it. Tidied my truck out the other week and found said 'body warmer' and it looked like it had been through a wood chipper. I was distraught. 😭

Keeps the wind off your body / chest, while still allowing free movement of arms & less overheating.
Obviously not going to do much in a heavy downpour, but in constant damp drizzly cold weather they are very good.

I have a Drizabone one, padded, with a cotton lining, which I love in cold weather. Drizabone also make one with a wool fleece lining, which I would have if I was in a colder environment

I also got one "made in UK" for £25 off ebay seems ok.

Im not sure how they are so cheap & still made in UK, probaby some slave labour in a dodyy garment factory in the back streets of leciester?

Im not sure how/if it differs much from the £200 barbour ones?

Prices with clothing used to mean quality but now I think you can never know sometimes it does sometimes not.....

In the good old days Barbour solely zipper 25 pound and the leggings I think were about five or ten pounds then the fashion guys started wearing them and that was the end for the workers

It was a bloody hard days work wearing those early wax Barbour leggings!
There has been enormous improvements in waterproof gear in my lifetime, can't say the same about the weather forecast letting you know if you need them or not though.

I had a cheap one off ebay, lasted me for years, only complaint was it was quite short in the body. I've now got a load of free body warmers to wear out before thinking of buying another one
