Best Wellingtons for work?

Which soles give the best grip on muddy grass, getting tedious doing one step forward and half a one back all the time. Have the "fish" soled landmasters which have lasted well, but are hopeless for grip on muddy grassland.
Before I would of said no contest tractor grip Nora's but what I've got now is very good!

Does anyone know where to find these skellerup boots being sold in Northern Ireland, would like to try something other than puroforts+ . Last pair cracked after 6months and the current ones are damp and cold at the toes after 2. Cheers

You should PM Skellerup Ben. He's planning to go to Northern Ireland in February to see a few retailers there. He should be able to help.

Dunlop Purofort all the way in the winter and switch to DeWalt riggers in the spring/summer or a pair of CAT walking boots

Bought a pair of Muck Boots Muckmasters since they were all the rage and spent most of the time on my arse or nearly on my arse. They are horrible on damp concrete, to the point of dangerous.

I am suprised that this thread is still going after more than a year,I asked the original question because I was going to buy a pair of wellingtons for working in and thought it best to ask the good people of tff for there feedback on their experience with the various makes available,I bought a pair le chemeau ceres with the michelin tractor tread soles,I found them comfortable warm and to have excellent grip but they are difficult to get off and were quite expensive but good if you are wearing them all day.
When the thread was resurrected later lest year when @Wellyman offered to send me a pair of skellerup quatro's to try,I must say that I have found them to be really comfortable and you almost forget that you are wearing them, I would like to take the opportunity to thank him and would encourage people to try them!

Are aigles warm though? I forever had cold feet until I bought some muck boots, best purchase I ever made! They have started to leak a bit now though and the lining has come away on one heel so it's rubbing holes in all my socks so it's time to start thinking about a new pair! Been looking at muck boots again or Grubbs but what do people think are the warmest?!!

Bought a pair of neoprene boots from Aldi at the weekend for £14.95.

I've worn them all week and can say they are as comfortable and warm as my Aigles that are kept for best/ shooting.

How long wil they last? Dunno but they seem very well made and they are bloody cheap.

Mine are exactly the same, total rubbish, damp and cold toes in 2 months, one even has the sole coming away, what a waste of money

My aigles split up the back, I wore my dunlops that I bought for summer wear for one day and had forgotten how uncomfortable they are in comparison and I kept leaving them in the mud because they are so wide! after trying on everything they had to offer in mole valley I ordered another pair of parcours off amazon for £55. Nothing comes close in comfort. Might try some skellerups next time though, but would really like to try them on first.
