Beyond dry

Nothing here so far at Oxford, annoyingly less than 10 miles away they had heavy rain for 45 minutes! Spun half my cover crops on for the sheep incase we get some rain, the rest will stay in the bag till the weather is more certain!

Having heard that some of you have had rain, I thought I would add a couple of pictures of where it is still dry!!
One picture is of the last of the very crisp herbal ley. Do you think it will ever recover from this or is it an expensive fail?
If it fails I am not sure we will be looking at having 20% of it in the future!!!!

We have had a few good prolonged showers today. Hopefully more tomorrow and possibly Sunday. Got the drill back on to drill some more turnips tomorrow.
Got 40 acres grass seed in also.
Still feeding everything.

you do wonder , how well it will come back, hope you get some rain, at least you can get something growing then
