No kidding! Yesterday we had four blokes to man handle this pipe into position... The largest of which was nearly launched into the air at one point! We all admitted to sleeping very well that night! I must admit we probably underestimated this job a little. Tomorrow we are installing a mush thicker brugg pipe but at least its half the length!its not the most flexible of pipe, and can be an absolute pig to get t-pieces to line straight if you dont let the pipe straighten naturally.

Our pipe is about a meter short of the house wall... Not sure what we're gonna do yet!?!The bit I feared the most (other than the concrete pad being the wrong size to sit the boiler on) was being a meter or two short on the 14 runs.
I worked out it would cost around £1000 to do the joins so bit the bullet and allowed a few meters extra and take the hit. Now have lots of 2m length for sale is anyone is interested
We've probably got 4m at the other end that needs cutting tbh. But I thought that you loose heat at every join? They fitted my pipe yesterday. I've got a 4 metre length left over, think it's 25mm but might be 32mm. Calpex. Shame you're not closer or you could have it.

I assume that's initial cost not heat loss over 20 years?See @humblefarmer post above
